H.S.H. Prince Rainier III founded the Yacht Club de Monaco Sailing School in1970. Throughout each year, the Sailing School teaches and coaches young sailors aged between 7 and 20 within the frameworks of National Education and Sailing Club Programmes. Six YCM Sailing School monitors and coaches take young sailors through syllabuses of initiation right up to those concerning competition sailing at the highest level. The six trainers have the missions of ensuring sound sail seamanship, the discovery of the sea, and the safekeeping of our marine environment.

Beginners to Competition Level … Courses Are Adapted To Age Levels
All training and courses using Optimist, Laser, 420 or 470 craft are supervised by Marco Stevenazzi, Base Chief. Courses and coaching are conducted throughout the year by six Monitors and Coaches who hold State Qualifications.
